Christian Icons on Wood
The Christian icons on wood I create are deeply personal and meaningful works. Each original is painted by hand with care and respect for Byzantine tradition, while also carrying my own artistic expression. Through my work, I seek to bring tenderness and warmth to every face, so that each icon offers a sense of closeness and quiet comfort.

The Light of Life…
Jesus Christ Pantocrator
Hand-painted icon — from €80
Reproduction on wood
Sizes from 15 × 20 cm
As I painted this icon of Jesus Christ, I wanted His gaze to meet anyone standing before it and remind them that they do not walk alone.
I have also hidden two little diamonds somewhere in the painting… Can you find them?
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
— John 8:12

The Good Shepherd…
Jesus Christ — The Good Shepherd
Hand-painted icon — from €80
Reproduction on wood
Sizes from 15 × 20 cm
I wanted to paint an embrace where fear gives way to peace. The little lamb rests against Christ’s chest, safe in His hands. Through His gaze, I wanted anyone looking at the painting to feel that there is a place in this embrace for them, too.
I have also hidden four little diamonds somewhere in the painting… Can you find them?
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
— John 10:11

I am here…
The Virgin Mary with the sparrows
Hand-painted icon — from €80
Reproduction on wood
Sizes from 15 × 20 cm
I wanted the Virgin Mary’s gaze to convey tenderness and comfort, as though she were whispering to the person looking at her, “I am here…”. The little sparrows nestled safely in the folds of her garment remind us of God’s care for even the smallest and most vulnerable creature.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.”
— Matthew 10:29

Together through time…
Saints Peter and Fevronia
Hand-painted icon — from €80
Reproduction on wood
Sizes from 15 × 20 cm
I wanted this icon to speak of a love that endures through time; of two people who choose to journey through life together with tenderness, devotion and faith. To me, the roses surrounding them symbolise a love that continues to blossom and remains alive through the years.
“Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh.”
— Genesis 2:24
